Built by the industry, for the industry

Michigan’s marine construction industry builds and maintains the docks, seawalls, harbors, and shoreline infrastructure that keep the state connected to its greatest natural asset, the water. For years that work has happened without a unified voice. MCAM changes that.

We give contractors, agents, engineers, surveyors, and suppliers one organized presence in Lansing and in Washington, a shared resource library, and real support when permitting gets complicated. State legislators have encouraged the industry to organize, and MCAM is the answer to that call.

PROJECT SHOWCASE

Northport shoreline stabilization & public pier rebuild

Armor-stone revetment, steel seawall repair, and a rebuilt community dock along Lake Michigan.

Years of ice heave and high-water erosion had undercut the public shoreline at Northport, threatening the pedestrian pier and the pavilion overlooking the bay. The village needed a durable fix that protected the bank without closing off waterfront access the community relies on.
